Miss Lonely Launches!

One night at our favorite Szechuan restaurant on one of our many magical trips to NYC, we got lost in conversation about a more exciting future. For two gals who've spent 20+ years losing ourselves to the daily corporate grind, the idea of carving out time do something different felt like an exhausting feat. I mean, it was much easier to sink into the couch after the 9-5 (uhhh, we wish that was really our workday).

Somewhere between the dan dan noodles and soup dumplings, we grew inspired by each other's dreams of 'creating'. But what do we want to create? Where do people start? And how do people actually do this? Especially when identifying one's "passion" feels like an entire job on its own (isn't that sad?). What we didn't know at the time is that we were sitting on little micro-ideas of things that the two of us deal with every day. And through the amalgamation of all of these moments and experiences that either fuel us or bring us down, Miss Lonely was created.

We're excited to build this brand with you through similar moments and experiences. We hope that our candles help spark a bit fire in you to also 'create', whether that's creating the time and space to connect with others, creating moments for you to connect with yourself to find what drives you (or what doesn't), or creating something you feel proud of. 

The journey to creating our Miss Lonely candles has brought the two of us even closer together, closer to our friends and family, and closer to our beautiful community. And through all of this connection, not surprisingly, we indeed feel a little less lonely.
