WHY IS CANDLE CARE SO IMPORTANT?

We want you to get the most out of your candle and enjoy your favorite scent as long as possible. Candle care is important for extending the candle’s life, ensuring a smooth burn and providing safety.

TRIM WICK TO 1/4" LENGTH BEFORE EACH USE
One of the most important aspects of candle care is trimming your wick. When you don’t trim between uses, the wick can cause too high of a flame which creates soot, uneven burning and potentially a fire hazard.

ON THE FIRST LIGHT, ALLOW WAX TO MELT TO THE EDGE OF GLASS, APPX. 4 HOURS
The first light of a candle is critical to avoid tunneling and ensure an even burn. Allow the melt pool to reach the edge of the glass before snuffing the candle.

AVOID BURNING CANDLES FOR LONGER THAN 4 HOURS AT A TIME
Burning a candle longer than four hours can create soot and excessive flickering.

PLACE ON A STABLE, EVEN SURFACE
A stable and even surface ensures that the candle burns evenly and safely.

SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING WHEN CARING FOR YOUR CANDLES.

  • Keep the candle on a stable, even and heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep candles away from children, pets, curtains, flammable materials, vents and drafts.
  • Never use water to extinguish a candle. Use a snuffer to avoid wax splashing and potential burns.
  • Never move a burning candle.
  • Do not leave candles unattended when lit.
