Our candle-making journey has been a long one met with late nights, wax spills, and at times, scrapping what we have and starting over. Our determination to deliver a beautiful candle experience for our community has always been what we strive for. Candle production is more than just wax and wicks, it’s a craft – from the pace at which you pour the wax to the time you wait before your first exciting light. The science involved in getting it right has resulted in rigorous testing and establishing quality assurance processes. Trial and error is the name of the game and we have to say, it paid off.

From the beautiful glass that houses the candle to the durable wick, each aspect of the candle has been thoughtfully curated with our customer’s experience at the forefront. We use a perfected blend of soy and beeswax that allows for the smoothest, cleanest burn. Our wicks are cotton and sized appropriately for the vessel, allowing for longer candle life. Both elements are critical for optimal fragrance performance.

We strive for perfection and believe in continuously improving to deliver the best candle experience possible. Because of this, we will iterate and evolve our candles and the production process over time.

Every element and component of our candle production process has been intentional. Like many of you, we value sustainability and the impact of health. To be as transparent as possible, we have addressed some common concerns individuals have when purchasing candles:

WHERE ARE YOUR CANDLES MADE?
Our candles are hand-poured by the founders in their homes in Texas and Oregon. The process to produce one candle takes two days and we let our candles cure for a minimum of two weeks before distribution.

ARE YOUR CANDLES TOXIC?
We use soy and beeswax in our candles, considered safe and non-toxic. We source scents from vendors that have industry-leading safety standards, free of carcinogens, reproductive toxins and other concerning chemicals.

ARE YOUR CANDLES SUSTAINABLE?
We source materials from USA manufacturers whenever possible. Our wicks, soy wax and scents are all manufactured in the USA. Sustainability is always in mind, even when placing orders from vendors we are mindful of the number of orders and forecasting future needs. Finally, we prioritize ground shipping over air to reduce our carbon emissions.
